Important Information
I will not sell an animal to anyone under the age of 18 unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
None of my bunnies or piggies will leave until I am happy they are eating and drinking well and are ready to leave, this is normally between 6 to 8 weeks old.
I do require a 50% deposit to ensure the rabbit or guinea pig is going to a good home. You are welcome to text, email or ring me to arrange a viewing and come and reserve your bunny or piggie or u can go on my waiting list. Although I do not have a strict waiting list and if a piggie/bunny does become available I will only hold him/ her for upto 5 days - awaiting 50% deposit to reserve. A deposit is required in all cases and if not recieved I will then offer to the next person, this is purely to deter timewasters. Once a 50% deposit is received - I will mark as reserved, then the balance will be due when he /she is ready to leave. ( I DO accept Paypal or Cash on viewing, but sorry I DON'T accept cheques).
Deposits will only be refunded if for any reason the bunny or piggie becomes unavailable. I also reserve the right to cancel any reserved bunnies or piggies at any time if I feel there is a reason to do so.
Please do not think you have to decide there and then if you want a baby or not, I would prefer you thought about it rather than having a bunny or piggie that you dont really want.
When considering a guinea pig for a pet please remember guinea pigs are social animals who live in small herds in the wild. This puts them among the few rodents who simply must have the companionship of another of their kind to be entirely happy. Without another guinea pig to talk too and exchange pleasantries with, a cavy will become withdrawn and lonely. Even the constant companionship of a human, with all the love you can give, cannot replace the special bond between two or more guinea pigs, so please bare this in mind when considering a guinea pig as a pet. I recommend the same sex pairs if you are keeping as pets. If you are wanting to breed then please let me know and I will sort out a boar and a sow that are unrelated. Please also note that two 'Roan' guinea pigs cannot be breed from. Guinea pigs are completely different from rabbits and males will breed from just 3 weeks old so please remember this as well.
Two rabbits can live together. If keeping two does together it is better either from the same litter or introduce them from about 8-9 weeks then they will bond and be companions for each other. You can keep two bucks together but this would probably mean they will need to be neutered to stop any aggressiveness towards each other when they mature. You can keep a male and female together but unless you want babies I would recommend that you get the male neutered. Brothers and sisters will also breed, so please dont keep litter mates together unless you are going to get him neutered before he becomes sexually matured which could happen as early as 4 months. Once again if you are wanting to breed then please let me know and I can arrange you to have a buck and doe that are unrelated.
All babies leave with a supply of food to change over gradually so it doesnt upset their tummies.
When you arrive to pick up your bunny or piggie please bring a suitable box or carrier to transport them home in, please dont forget a water bottle if you are travelling some distance or if its hot weather.
Please make sure you have a hutch, bedding, bowls and water bottle in place before you come and collect your rabbit or guinea pig.
As I said before I do not breed my rabbits or guinea pigs to make a profit, all money made goes back into looking after the parents and future litters. This is a hobby and not a business.
I do my best to try and ensure the sex of the rabbits is correct and they are checked over the last few weeks before they leave. It is sometimes difficult to sex them, they appear to be one sex and then suddenly look different. I cannot 100% guarantee the sex but I will try. If I do get it wrong and the sale is not wanted I would return the deposit paid, also once a rabbit has left me I am not held responsible for the rabbits sex as sexing rabbits is not easy and not 100% ,you are welcome to check for your self though.
I will not be held responsible for any bunny or piggie once it has left me and not in my care.
Any other questions please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Many Thanks
Sharon :)

A Rabbit Poem ( Author Anne M Kenyon)
Before considering a Rabbit or a Guinea Pig as a pet.
Please read this poem and remember that, that cute bundle of fluff that you take home will grow up and he/she will still need to be loved and cared for all of its life and not be forgotten about down the bottom of the garden. If you do become fed up with your pet and no longer want him or her, please let me know and I will either take him/her back or help you to rehome it.
This poem was sent to me by a lovely lady who I met through my animals and has become a lovely friend. The poem is very very touching but unfortunately is very true and very sad.
